This declaration of accessibility applies to the website by the TU Dresden, published under https://jexam.inf.tu-dresden.de.

As a public body within the meaning of the Barrierefreie-Websites-Gesetz (BfWebG) the Technische Universität Dresden strives to make their websites and mobile applications in accordance with the provisions of BfWebG and in connection with the Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung (BITV 2.0) accessible.

State of the accessibility

Due to the following incompatibilities and / or exceptions, this website is partially compatible with the requirements of the BfWebG in connection with the BITV 2.0.

Not accessible content

  • The news feed on the start page deviates from the prescribed minimum contrast.
  • Under "Show my account details" only the flags for English and German have alternative texts.
  • The pages "Show my lectures", "Manage my lectures", "Seminar group enrollment" and "Enrollment for subsidiary subjects" contain span elements whose meaning is indicated by icons. These icons have no alternative texts.
  • If data is changed on the "Manage my lectures" and "Seminar group enrollment" pages, the events will be re-rendered. As a result, the focus is lost with every rendering.
  • The exams on the "Exams summary", "Enroll for exams" and "Request exam cancellation" pages should be displayed as an HTML list.
  • The exams on the "Exams summary", "Enroll for exams" and "Request exam cancellation" pages contain span elements whose meaning is indicated by icons. These icons have no alternative texts.
  • If a status message pops up, the focus is not moved to this. As a result, screen reader users do not notice them.
  • Some dropdowns do not have the correct ARIA attributes.
